Fantastic, how anyone can slag this piece of equipment, i dont know. im no vince clark but i can tell you this. its inspiring to say the least. I bought mine in july 2006 and am running it on os public 1 beta and am having few problems. I only use it as an audio device into my g4 based pro tools set up, i will never sell it, my triton st 61 will be sold first, then my wife and kids and me and my virus can make loads of music even if the soaps are on telly. Buy it, Love it and twist its nipples the screams will sound better than any woman. Easy now!

The best synth ever! a True work horse, the new converters make it sound better and cleaner than the Virus KC I once had. It really saves cpu power also, it has one the best reverbs and delays I have heard, better than any vst out there! And you get reverb and all other fx for all 16 parts instead of one overall. Great sounds come so easy with the Virus TI. I sold mine only to get a Waldorf Q+ that I had my eye on. The way I looked at it was that I could always get a Virus TI but when would I be able to get a Waldorf Q+ many of you know that these are very very rare, so I sold mine but will buy one again as soon I have the money. Who cares if it does not sound like true analog... It has its own sound thats modern, fresh, clean and aggressive. Real analog takes up to much space in the audio spectrum anyway and all vsti sound sick next to it, So ugh.

I purchased the Ti 61 keys for the ridiculous amount of $1250.00 !! Just got OS vers. 1.2.4. This synth is beyond amazing. The best ever in my opinion. I have an enormous amount of gear, from analog to digital, and for the first time in my life I have actually started selling stuff because I feel complete with the Ti. The sound inspires me in ways never experienced before. The sound is gorgeous. The total integration with Mac or PC makes it the only instrument you will ever need. It works flawlessly. I use Korg, Roland, Yamaha, Novation, Nord, Waldorf, Oberheim, Moog, Sequential, Dave Smith, Jomox & most of all the plug-ins in the world. The Ti is the ultimate sound machine.

Ive just bought one of these on credit and its quite a bit better sounding than the Virus KC I had. I think the hypersaw and wavetables sounds really good and the increased resolution makes for a more transparent brighter sound. This synth cannot be faulted on its sounds - its by far the most versatile and professional sounding digital synth on the market. Ill go one further, I think its probably the all time best sounding digital synth.

The Total Integration aspect is what has come under most fire since its release. Me personally have not experienced any oddities or failures. I think it largley comes down to the combination of components in your computer....and Access are to be commended that they are trying to trouble shoot the issues when other manufacturers arent pulling their weight.

I dont know if TI is the way to go in future given that computer manufacturers arent being very supportive...but the virus should not be overlooked as first and foremost the most powerful standalone synth ever made. I really do rate this synth highly compared to others.
