Hi, my advice is not to buy it! It's the best looking synthesizer ever build - But that's all!

I'm running OS 1.09, and well, it doesn't improve anything!! The best improvement did OS 1.03, but since then, nothing happened!

Nice Hypersaw, I like it, but it crashes all the time! And that LOUD digital crashing gave me a long lasting tinnitus... The patches aren't usable, nor are the Wavetables. It sounds very digital overall, I like it, but many don't as I know.

ALL I CAN SAY IS *WOW*

Im totally floored by this machine. Im running OS1.9 beta (well it says 1.9 somewhere)Most of the little glitches have been ironed out for me. Im using a Unitor 8 as my midi interface ands its pretty rock solid now. True the TI was pretty buggy when it first came out and it felt like a 95% completed product (im convinced why earlier reviews are somewhat negative) but its definitely heading towards maximum stability now. My thanks to the Access team who've done an epic job making the TI so fecking awesome.

Onwards and upwards thankyou very much :D

Fantastic synth. Some users are experiencing problems with integrating it into their computer based setup (I feel their pain) hence the negative reviews. Overall this synth sounds great and beats all others because it has such a characteristic tone. I personally think an upgrade from a C to a TI is worth it, particularly if you are doing demanding work that needs more polyphony. The onboard effects are very useful for live work (when fidelity is not of paramount importance. Dont get me wrong, these on board effects are the best on any synth and give standalones under £300 a good run for their money)

There are so many great sounding presets to get you started on your project. I swear this is the best supported synth since the DX7 as far onboard/3 rd party patches go. You cant go wrong -all genres are covered.

If you can afford it then buy one and enjoy

okay, here we go. this is a totally subjective review. I'm still waiting for my TI to arrive, but I've testet it for 3 hours at 2 days so I quite know the synth...

My advice: if you have a virus already, don't buy it! keep your virus and buy something else instead, or spend it on holiday with your girlfriend/wife... The improvements aren't worth the change.

Pros: -Virus Sound (you gotta love it if you buy that thingy of course) -great interface, nice knobs, dimming LFO leds

Cons: -Hypersaw, it's a gag, doesn't sound good. If u r looking for some stacked saws, get a JP8080 (which I own) -Wavetables, can't use it in your songs nor do they sound well -Integation is buggy, hanging notes, arps out of sync etc. -only 16bits through USB

the only advantage of the TI to its precedessors is the better interface, bigger poliphony and a nice display

as already said, if you own a virus already, don't buy it. if you don't own a TI yet, go to the shop, have some listening and then consider buying a used one at ebay, probably virus b or c, or virus a for 10 quids...

I bought this one because I'm insane and I like the display
