Lovely rich complex subtle sounds - I bought the Virus (kb) after trying out the MS2000, SupernovaII, and JP8080, and in my opinion it's the best (and most analogue) sounding by far. I found the Supernova especially, sounded very 'digital' indeed (my old JV1080 compares suspiciously well!) The layered interface means that it's very easy to get into but there's some serious control lurking below the surface... wonder if Access will ever release the OS source code so that we can REALLY go mad!

I've had my Virusb for some time now and was on the point of selling it to free up some money to go down the 'software-synth' route. Then I re-discovered it and the rest, as they say is history. This synth has ENORMOUS depth and admittedly it is complex but a bit of playing around can bring some truly fantastic results. Good value for money compared to say a Nord (and I DO love the Nord) and finally the sounds seem to stack up extremely well in a mix unlike Novation gear where you have to struggle with the big sounds (I had a Nova II for a while). Anyone not heard this thing really should!

I got the Indigo version and let me tell you it kicks some ass. One of the best synths I have ever touched. Also I got mine way before it hit USA. I was lucky enough to get it from germany for $1400 with free shipping. Pick one of these up as soon as possible.

Yes, i got an A, but, also its irritating even to deal with when you consider that i make my own sounds, and some os updates make your sounds incompatable. I got annoyed with the whole thing. They should of just made it have all those options and updates from the get go. I hate rushed products.
