Great sampler. I have had mine for 6 months and it took me about a week to understand it and a month to get comfortable with it. Now it is all I use for storing and sampling drums. I advise anyone out there looking for a new sampler but already haev a studio built up to buy this machine. Its great.

The Cd3000i is very clean sounding, the effects are also very good even though it doesn't have the warmth of an Emu it is still in a class all by itself... Oh and too bad it doesn't load .wav sounds just Akai format. What more fun we could have had. She is just a one nighter for me, I am now selling it on E-bay.

This is one of the easiest sampler that I have ever used to really get the most out of. The sounds are cool and so easy to edit. I picked up mine of ebay for $300 and I think it's a steal.

go for the CD3000xl instead of the CD3000i and you got a ton more features for only a bit extra $

Rhonda a part-time user from CA writes:
I just picked up a brand new CD3000XL "new old stock" stilled sealed in the original Akai box for only $600. This thing is AWESOME!! I love my Emu E5000 Ultra too, but now I have both types of samplers in my arsenal. The cool thing about the CD3000xl is that I can extract stuff off sample CDs with the greatest ease now and this is a huge plus to me since I use a lot of samples from disk. This sampler is pure quality and beauty combined. I just love the feel of it. They originally sold for $2500 retail, so I feel like I stole it for only $600 on eBay. Im a very happy camper!!
