Ricci is right once you buy this you wont want to sell it. It's so easy to use just hit record bang the pads and there you have it. I dont even use a PC for sequencing I tried it but I hate looking at all those little blocks what's the point I already have the beats in my head I dont have stare at a damm monitor. The MPC and my JP8080 is all I need.

This is a fucking drum code WEAPON! I may even be inspired enough to seek the mighty 3000! This unit in conjunction with a 909 allows one to jack your 16th note flam resolution similar to DJ Rush's CHI town shit without messing endlessly with quantization setting in any sequencer. AKAI is still the dominator!!!!!!!!!!

Get an MPC2000Xl with FX board, they are totally cool for techno, wierd shit, drum 'n' bass, jungle, etc etc

i was thinking about getting the ASR-X pro, but heard about the shitty sequencing, im sure this might be just as good with a good sequencer (possibly the MPC2000XL :))))
