i was thinking about getting the ASR-X pro, but heard about the shitty sequencing, im sure this might be just as good with a good sequencer (possibly the MPC2000XL :))))

It is a very tidy unit and well laid out. (if you want to) it can be all you need for sample based composing. However there is a problem with the current OS, (v.1.06) which does not enable you to save over multiple floppies.
