This was my first synth. I got my first AX-60 in 1992. But during one of my temper tentrums I smashed it into about 100 little pieces. I have calmed down now and purchased another for $300 (same price I paid 4 my first one) The construction quality is exelent(made of metal)as are all AKAI products these people take pride in their work. AX-60 is VERY compairable to ROLAND JUNO-106. But I prefer the AX-60. It is heavy and it is big but I am in love with it!!!!!!Its a fat black cow that MOOO's in resonance.IT is a lusious slut that loves her sliders to be gentle carressed. YES,....SHE makes me orgasm in those late night sexual music programming sessions!!!!!!!
