oh lastly... Forget about the Ion's preset's.. Sure if you don't like'm, tweakem.. I usually start from scratch(Default patch)... That's the whole point... Like I said, it's right there with the Mini Moog. When you own an analog synth, the whole point is to start sounds from scratch.. Frankly, I haven't even checked out all the preset's.. I've been on the "default" patch because I like creating them.. It's easy too..

Me again... IT still doesn't want to sequence on Cubase SX3... It just gives me that high pitch.. They said I'm getting a midi feedback thru... Whatever... Anyway, I figured it out how to do this..

I'll make the sounds on the ION, transfer it to my MICRON(this is very easy easy easy to do btw), then sequence the MICRON on CUbase...Or sample lot's on the ION..I think it sounds very good.. It can make kicks, snares, hihats, leads, basses... It is like the moog(3 osc, 2 filters and more)... Plus, I was playing around with the Matrix(not hard to do either) and here, you can make your soundscapes(you know, weird unheard of sounds)... BTW, the ION and the MICRON compliments each other...If you make sounds on the ION, you can transfer the sounds to the MIcron and take it out to play live because it's more convenient that way... That's what I do as I play at my church... THe ION is too heavy.

I've had the IOn now for 1 month and still, I can't wait to go home and make kick arse basses and leads or whatever...

yeah...pretty cool.good sounds begging to be tweaked! weak arp, a little light on the effects' not the best key feeling[i play really hard at times] but, who gives a rat's arse! there are some sounds here that are so funky they SMELL! one other nice touch it fuckin' glows! red! beautiful! you can turn on mod wheels to glow continuously. i've got mine partnered up with a triton extreme, triton classic and, dave smith evolver running stereo through motion sound kp200s. i am VERY happy!

I traded my AN1X for the ION... I love it...It's like the Moog... Some people say it's hard to work it but not for me but maybe because I had the Micron and figured that Micron first so when I got my ION, it all made sense.. I updated my ION OS to 1.06 now....

Here's he kicker, my IOn sequences very well with Fruity Loops but it doesn't sequence well on CUbase SX 3. Meaning, when I press play on my keyboard and when I press play on Cubase, it gives a high pitch.. Everything is all set to MIDI on my ION(Global, etc.)... WHat am I doing wrong kids? Regardless, ION is my last synth as a producer, remixer and muso..

Also, the fact that it glitches a lot can be quite amusing. I like it that way! :D
