this is a wonderful module, made me purchase the nanopiano and nanosynth shortly after I purchased the nanobass. An in credible line in all. I pretty much wrote an album and a half with these 3, a midi controller and a 4-track.

A little bit of everything, whichever type of music you fancy, great piece of gear.

I cant tune the dorn thing to my synth. Alesis should have added a tune switch. Does anyone know how to tune this module? e-mail me audioworks247@yahoo.com

Tony Skutnick a professional user from USA writes:
Alesis' Nano Bass packs a lot of punch for such a small unit. I use this unit in combination with a Nano Synth and a Boss DS-330 controlled by a Roland A-30 and KCS 4.0 sequencing software. The sound is solid and true. The presence of 1/4 inch output jacks (vs. RCA phono plugs) is a plus. This unit can generate everything from straight up bass to funky "off the wall" sounds. Works great with MIDI.

DJ XSoundz a professional user from United States writes:
I cannot belive the ratings on this page. Really -what the hell??? There is nothing wrong with this module at all. Not all the sounds are good (electric, acoustic bass) but the rap, industrial, synthesizer ones they are all really good. Someone says "how could something be less professional?" - there is nothing unprofessional about the sounds (they're not PERFECT but they do a good job) there is a variety of sounds and they are USEFUL who the fuck cares if u can program an analog module to do some really phatt sounds IF ITS NOT USABLE??? Anyways, i look at "professional" is if it can be used in a song well - not the size, amount of sounds, parameters or how big it is.

I was surprised how useful all sounds are. Program this thing is very difficult, but the sounds are already useful.. the big minus for this unit is not multimembral =((((
