The local Guitar Center had these on blowout for $40!!!!! I got the last one, and I can say that this is the best bang-for-the-buck by FAR that I have ever gotten out of a music purchase. If I could have gotten just a couple good sounds it would be worth it, but this thing rocks! Well worth it.

I�ve just got my hands over this little unit for about 100 dollars(brand new from musicstore!) and I can say it�s well worth the money. But as all the other users I have to complain about the non existing listing of parameters in the manual. But the manual was very fun to read, very fun. About the synth, wunderful. Since I play EBM and such music it is a welcome addition in my studio.

I like the majority of the sounds. I wish the had a list of what effects and filter are in effect when selecting a sound. I also wish there was a headphone jack to list to the sound immediately without hooking up a mixer. I haven't found any information on midi-sync. The would have been nice for the "effect" bank of sounds which have rhythmic beats to them. One could argue about that the unit only plays one bass sound at a time (especially since a 64 voice module), but hopefully the voices are used to controll the various filters - I hate to see good voices go to waste. Again, without knowing what filters and effects are being used, it's hard to know how all the voices are allocated. Some sounds are too similiar to each other, but the ones which are unique make up for them. One would be hard pressed to complain about the variety of sounds available in this unit. Over all I give it high marks. For $250, you're not going to find anything better right now.

Well, if you're looking for super phat basses and stuff, the NanoBass is the one. Most of the sounds I use fall under either the "industrial" or the curiously named "rap" catagory. The accustic selections sound pretty dope too! I got bored one day and MIDI'ed my SR16 drum machine to the NanoBass and wow!!! You can get some pretty funky arpeggio patterns (especially where the low-end is concerned). I would recommend this unit to anybody who wants to add a bit of punch to their rig without spending big bucks on an analog modeling synth. One last note: the saw wave in the "rap" catagory makes for an awsome vocode.
