This little machine is a butt-kicker. Don't let it's size fool you. A friend passed one of these on to me and I instantly fell in love with its personality. Stand alone, it will give you no end of enjoyment with it's quirky and extensive range of tones. Run it though a multi-effector and stand back...this baby grunts, producing some of the meanest, heaviest analogue madness from a unit you can almost slip into your pocket....GET ONE!!!

I first bought my Amdek Percussion Synth at arou nd 1981 in kit form from Soho Soundhouse I think it was. The voice range is extremely astounding, especially in the bottom end noises. With a choice of two wave form options this little box gives a good account of its self. Apart from a sensitivity control for the drum pad it can also be triggered by an analogue output from a drum machine to add a different or enhanced sound to an original instrument already in a programmed drum pattern (if individual voice output sockets are available). This little fella gives some very original sounds which I have always found will attract comments from listeners to my recordings(though not always complimentry but that's probably down to my music and not the percussion synth!)
