THE number one string synth of all time. No other unit (besides Arp synths with the same circuits) compares. The sound is so lush. The single envelope gives it an unmistakable character. The sound can be very melloncholic. Tears will role down your face. I'm crying just thinking about it. Excuse me..

Buy One!!!!!!!!!! Realizing what it is capable of is dangerous. Strings everyone else tries to achieve. Lead lines or open second inversion chords, rich, rich, rich.... Bounce on some chords you won't believe it. Slider controls, what else. Play one with a Mellotron!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know about ARP SE but I'm sure that it's related to Eminent 310 Unique, which I've bought recently from the Netherlands. This organ is real ly a Jean-Michel Jarre-esque instrument, and my Unique is in excellent condition.Beautiful wood work (not a scracth anywhere!) and great sounds! Of course if you want "that" JMJ-sound out from your ARP SE or Eminent 310 you'll be needed an Electro-Harmonix Smallstone phaser :). But my com ments about the Eminent strings : SUPERB !!!

Because the Solina sounds absolutely great, I decided to built a (very limited edition) midikit for it. So if you have the later model with led's in the buttons and stereo outputs, this might interest you: --- MIDI for your Strings ! ---

Specs: Note On/Off , CC7, CC64, assignable midi CH, internal powersuply (220 V-50 mHz). Very easy to built-in thanks to the supplied manual. Please contact me for further detail$.
