Hello, I own a Arp Odyssey mk2 . Not sure what the filters are ; would anyone know how to find out what they are? Also, how do you use the arp odyssey as a guitar effects processor in detail? This synthesizer I would say is my favourite. I love the sound of it? Besides this I'd like to have the ems vcs3 or a modern modular system. Never big on Arp yet in playing an Odyssey recently i've new respect, it has warmth much in the Oberheim SEM/OB-1 vein; clean and tight vs. the obeseness of the Mini. All of these earlier, relatively simple and discrete component monos have a warmth and organic nature that was somewhat diminished in later IC-based polyphonics. Still-great examples remain outrageous Hancock basslines on Chameleon and Manchild.

This thing chirps and burps,this synth is crazy it just doesnt stop making weird noises,The sliders are pretty stiff on mine but throw a slider,flick a switch and fantastic unearthly sounds come pouring out,defintly a keeper.

Fantastic. Some are getting a little ragged so seek out a good one. Miles better than a minimoog. Much more classic sounding and varied. Forget the crap about duophonic, this is a mono. Lovely modulation stuff. Sound effects aplenty. Easy to work on. The sliders need care. Good cv and very easy to midi. Just about the best sounding and classic mono of all time bar the 2600.
