i think this little unit kicks serious bottom for DUB and NOISE gigs !!! i've had one for about 5 years and have used it on countless live gigs and recordings . i think the key with this one is use it with a good analog delay , use the long decay setting and trigger it manually but sparingly.

I must say I had expected this little thing to sound way better than it does. "phat" and "warm" are certainly not fitting descriptions of the PC-2. What it does best is make people laugh because of its hilarious Commodore-64 imitations. But if you´re into that sort of thing then by all means. Just make sure you don´t pay too much for it , like I did. Really , if you have *any* monosynth with a Sample & Hold feature then you won´t be needing the PC-2. save your money.

I had fun triggering it from my 808 though...but eventually I sold it. Find yourself the HC-2 clapper brother instead , much more useful. (I kept that one)

jeff ford a professional user from usa writes:
wow for 20 bucks it's worth it! trigger it with a drum machine and look out. especially good with a filter between it and your mixer. not something i would try to find but pleased to come across. this sucker looks really hip next to a dr-55 as well. it begs for mods. i give it a 3 because it was so cheap but acually sounds damn fine for strange percussion bleeps and sweeps. I plugged this thing into the new moogerfooger filter. very hip, just don't expect much bass or leads.
