Yes, buyers should know that the 5V Smartmedia cards for the SP202 (the SM-4 card) is almost unavailable. The ONLY place you will find them is eBay, but probably not for too much longer. Better get em before they are all gone which will most likely be soon. The SP202 is a legendary machine and full of possibilities. But you will need the cards if you want to have tons of extra RAM. They are extremely important especially for ease of use in live performance.

i am having fun with the Boss Dr. sampler Sp-202, but I dont Know How to fully Operate it. I Got mine from the Pawn shop with out a manual. I was asking could any one send me a manual so i can get down to the real things with this sampler. My address is 1375 Brentwood Ave. Macon, GA 31204. I would be really greatful if I had a manual or an instuction booklet!

oh yeah----i forgot to mention that the regular 3volt (or 3.3v) cards dont work with SP-202. You need the nearly extinct 5 volt cards (5V). Arghh! -anyway you can still get em for now and they do seem to last forever. each card will hold a ton of samples up to almost 36 mins in lo-fi 2 and about 4&1/2 mins in HI-FI, and a little over 8 mins in Standard mode. So they are certainly worth the extra cost for me. I can load up samples for a killer show with 2 or 3 of these cards. the whole rig is so friggin PORTABLE! I love it.

yes, you will need the smartmedia cards. you can still get them over at ebay. search for 4MB 5V smartmedia and you can usually find. This SP-202 is just amazing. How it plays & just sounds so good I do not know. I could not live without it, so I bought 2 more for back-up. :-P'
