I'm a guitarist and I just picked one of these up from the side of the road and it's great! Pretty cheesy/kitsch,(yay), I can see some cool applications. Better than my Yamaha (also free), I'll give it a 4 cos it's not as totally weird as my Concertmate-380 ($1) :)

The Casio CA110 is a nice keyboard with unique sounds, usefull for professional recordings. I use the CA110 for the effects and poly-phrases.

this keyboard is underrated. as one half of an experimental idm band, i deal with many keyboards. the ca-110 has unique sounds. when processed correctly, this is a fabulous piece of equipment. if you want to hear it on a professional recording, listen to dosh's "my girl's ex-car. i know it as tone 74...i think. i use this beast on at least 3 songs in our set, and it has never failed me. buy this thing. it's a bargain at any price.

i have one since i was 9 and it has never let me down. i used it on stage just about 3 weaks ago. i wouldn't say the sound is too bad, it is just too unique. when i play with it, i'm afraid i can push the 'demo' button accidentaly...must take it off..

I have to say that I am one of the fans of this keyboard!
I have used it for eight years and counting and love the brass and synthy tones. I do put my CA-110 through some abuse sonic wise. From distortion to another synths filters its a fuzzy mean sounding kb....
yeah its cheap and nasty but I didnt expect that paying $30 for a kb was going to get me a triton.
I dig it.
