I love my Casio CTK 631. I have produced a fabulous demo album using only the CTK and my voice. If you are smart enough and have simple gear that works, the potential of sounds is enormous. I simply plugged it through a Zoom RFX module and used enhancing effects. The piano sounds are incredible and the drum kits through the zoom sounded like Phil Collins was sat in the room playing next to you. I LOVE THIS KEYBOARD-GET ONE BOUGHT QUICK! They are cheap enough and cracking little machines and so versatile in the right hands.

The sound is NOT convincing. The keyboard velocity is terrible. The best thing about this keyboard is the chord analyzer. Buy a cheap used synth instead.

This keyboard is brilliant! It has most features you'd want out of a keyboard and more...step recording, mixer, synth, intros and fill-ins are all extremely handy. A few guitar sounds are a tiny bit unreallistic but the synth and piano is amazing. I didn't use the GM feature on it yet even though I have the equipment but so far so good.
