The Casio CTK-551 is a nice learner's keyboard, and a classic example of a product filling the marketing niche that Casio has carved out for itself, which is somewhere between toy and serious.
Features of the CTK-551 include complete digital polyphony, 100 preset tones, rythems, and songs. It features a large blue LCD display, as well as a Synchro/Fill-In button, Casio-chord and conventional (Fingered) Chord accompanyment options and complete stereo.
Quite honestly, the preset voices range in fidelity from quite good, to pitiful. The piano voice is awful, but the synth pads and leads, as well as the strings, split, and layers are noteworthy.
