I owned a HT 3000 in the late 80's. i sold it one year later to buy a synth with multimode. 3 months ago i bought a HT 6000 and it sounds fantastic. Very warm analog filter and fast envelopes.I can create some decent analog drums, dark atmospheric Pads and organic sequence-sounds.With Ringmodulation,4 DCO'S, 64 (4bit)waves and analog filter and chorus it is one of best sounding polyphonic hybrid synths that i ever heard.the only negativ side is the limited oktave-range in the low end.because of that you can't make deep basses but this beast has a special character that i never heard from other synths. forget all GM-Toys.

Tony Anderson a part-time user from UK writes:
I found a very interesting effect can be accidentally acheived by using the chord operation memory.. You can make the programmed backing, obligato, bass and cord inversions play using the uppertone sounds. Back in the day this could be made to sound really high tech, with hip resonating sounds and effects.. It was a good introduction... What disappointed me was the base pattern sound, used in the rythum section.. The HT700/ HT3000 had great sounds.. Not so with the HT6000. Velocity sensitivilty makes playing expessive and made the piano sounds authentic. With todays music and expectations the HT6000 is no doubt obsolete but it still remains interesting to play.

It's a 4DCO/VCF analog synth with a ring modulator and velocity. Create your own sound and it can be very thick, decent and weird.... For sounds, see below and tell me any info you have.
