My very first instrument was the Casio PT-1. Ill always remember that keyboard. I dont know where it is now...talking about it makes me want to find one to replace it.

My very first keyboard. I got one (dark blue) when I was 5 or 6 year old, and it was the reason why I started loving synthesizers. Now I own a Yamaha SY77, Roland Juno 106, Emu ESI4000 and Rhodes Stage Piano 73 MkII (not a great set anyway); my Pt1 ended up completely smashed 10 or 15 years ago, but I really miss it. I also own a Pt100 (though I'm not sure where it is!), but it's not the same. Casio forever!

This is probablly the best synth I have. Unique true crushing-wrapped-deformed sounds if the battery is low. I have an mc505 and a Virus-B and is impossible to simulate this kitch perverted sound.

Increible.

A VL-tone without the calculator function. Therefore, not good for sums and working out percentages. A silly bit of 80s kitch. Mines dark blue. Seen white and pink ones as well. The drum beats and synth sounds are, as I said, those on the VL. The PT costs much less, though I haven't seen one for sale for ages. Much better value than the VL which is getting real expensive. All of these silly early Casios are being collected. SKs have all gone as have the VLs. Trio may have used the PT rather than the VL on Da DA DA..which don't realy bother me as it was a crap track any way! Just breaks that VL myth. If you mod em' they soon break and then it's just another one gone. Best to keep em' original. They look especially daft atop a Prophet10. Designed to be loved and cherished. Every musician..part time or professional should have one just in case.

This keyboard is like the best one since 1990, sure its got built-in speakers but so what this thing is almost as sophisticated as any Nordlead 2 or maybe a 3!!! Anyways i think mines at the end of its life-cycle. Im saving to buy a new Yammaha with these wicked built-in speakers gotta go! MARRYLARRYO
