I had a look at that Audio Justice site and it's absolutely rubbish! Who comes on a site like this and tries to promote their own junk. Go somewhere else kiddo, we don't want your crap unsigned bands promoting all over the place. Take your Justice and stuff it where the sun don't shine.

I bought my first PT-1 at the Knavesmire Car-Boot sale for one pound sterling. Its bare simplicity is its rare beauty - forcing your imagination to swell and elaborate. Like with any of Casio's magical mini-keybs, all you need to make an album with the PT-1 is an equally portable tape-recorder. Let me recommend the Sony 20-DV. I used one of these to record myself singing along to wild improvising on the PT-1 in the bathroom of The Val Moret Motel, in the champagne region of France, in August 2001. People talk about putting keyboards like this through FX units and such, but really, a bathroom with that kind of acoustic, and a swollen imagination, and the moment is there for the seizing. If you come across one at a thrift store or car-boot, or yard-sale, remember this: the don't make these things anymore, and they haven't for a long time, nor nothing like them again. The world moves forward quickly, and leaves gems like the PT-1 in its wake.

I love the PT1. Me and my cousin had one each as kids, although never seen a PINK one!! We had cream coloured ones. Mine died a death a long while ago and he unfortunately sold his. I am now after another one. If anyone has one they want to part with then mail me! Great sounds. I have, up until this point, never heard of anyone modding one and that has to be one of the funniest things I ever heard!

my first keyboard ever at 13 years old,my casio pt1 was kickass.I would take it apart and touch the pitch control circuit with my finger and get pich bends way up and way down to bass.It is thick and clear sounding. It has a legatto style monophony that is great for lead and effect tracks.tried to layer two of them for unison fat sound but too small to tinker with to that exteent. It is featuered in some rap music and also in the dadada song.(VL1 or VL tone)If anybody knows how to tweak this unit to get synthed sounds better or above 4 presets, please email me with mod schematics and how-tos.
