Back when I was a Teen with little money to spare and a big interest in samplers (witch at the time was THE new thing with the advent of Ensoniq's Mirage) I bought Radio Shack's version of the casio SK-100: the Concertmate CT-1 for about $75. I had a LOT of fun with the little thing. I only wished it had a better sound quality. And I have to correct the specs given in the review: the sampling rate was 9k max at 8 bits. I gave it to one of my friend a couple of years after I bought it. I don't really regret it! ;-)
