This this is awesome, I couldnt afford a new one but when I saw one for $1000 I couldnt resist (it was still in the original box too! WHOA!) This thing is so good it makes cry, if you're into lo-fi sounds like Boards of Canada look no further than this BAD MAMA, LUSH! The ease with which you can program your own sounds is also AMAZING! I checked out some other synths like the waldorfXTK but it was too fiddly for me compared to my beautiful red babe. Also, the chord button makes me have wet dreams.

WB a professional user from NY writes:
I agree with most reviewers praising the NL3, but it has this tonal characteristics typical to Nord synths (i.e. NL, NL2, and NM). That may be a good or bad thing, depending on ones taste and perference. I personally feel that a good VA synth should be sonically as neutral as possible (just like you would expect a good sampler to be). But then again, this is my personal opinion. It is also one of the main reasons why I will not keep my NL3. Still, it's a great synth and definitely worth checking it out!

SRM a hobbyist user from USA writes:
The Nord Lead 3 has single handedly rendered every other synthesizer I own obsolete. This incredible jewel must be experienced to be understood. The Nord Lead 3 is not cheap, but the value is exceptional. This will be the synthesizer that keeps on giving.

It is the most wonderful VA out there! It can not be explained, you must hear it for your self.
