This synth sounds better the more I use it, the possibilities are virtually endless,It's got all the sounds you could possibly need, It's Fat it's rubbery it's gritty it's lush, it's dense, it,s trippy, it's moogy and it's digital. In the seven months I've had it I've come up with three full 128 patch banks of killer sounds, and i'm starting on the fourth. there's loads of memory,It looks fantastic,I had a nova and I could never get it to sound the way i wanted, in fact it took ages to get any good sounds outy of it despite all it's effects. The nord doesn't need effects it sounds that good, and they're still improving it. Want my advice? dont touch anything else, save up and get the nord. marks out of five "this one goes to eleven"

chuckie a hobbyist user from USA FOREVER writes:
i rated this synth once before and i'll rate it again. its been 3 months and this synth has only gotten cooler. every time i sit down with it, something new comes out. once you learn how to utilize it, the possibilities are absolutely staggering. its strange this baby hasn't caught on as much just yet, but in 10 years time i predict this machine will be even more classic than the prophet 5 or matrix 12-and can even make some a them sounds. in 3 months i havn't had one single instance of note stealing.. remarkable for a VA. sell all your other analogesque machines and get one of these. my only complaint is that shoddy keyboard.. but the cure for that is to just get the rackmount which should be out shortly.
