Tellur Freudisdottir a professional user from Iceland writes:
I found "my" coron DS-7 in a rehearsal room and, being angry about the roommates, took it away from them clandestinely. Since then, I experimented a lot with that tiny box, mostly on the analogue way, without knowing anything about its proper functions, purposes and datas. I just called it Ugu-Ugu, what means in african bushmen-language: "hit-me". It is a machine, that is not only a machine, it works sometimes with an own mind independent from the man sitting in front of it. It is so intuitive but yet uncontrollable...(sounds like a love poem!), maybe because I rescued it not unharmed from its pre-proprietors. Greets, Tellur

One eighth boy a hobbyist user from Australia writes:
Drawn as always to the usually void and blank music section of cash converters ( which sometimes paradoxically contains jewels of the brightest nature, as if to counter the rows of Ibanez guitars and worn hammonds) I found my little Coron curious and unknown behind some cables and stuff. For $20 I was hers. Once home she spoke to me of analogue love, and spendslarge amounts of time on my desk sending random and never o be repeated sqeals sqeaks and booms through my headphones. Coupled with a PA and a live kit she evokes the Cars and Trans Am! Drum synth LOVE.

Ray Bong a part-time user from Lafitte, La writes:
The coron is the greatest minisynth I have ever seen. I started with a Synare Sensor, and played a Synare SX3 array also, but the coron ds-7 or ds-8 unit is just the greatest battery powered synth built by man. I play mine through a boss dd5 delay and akai headrush sampler, usually to a pignose or danelectro honeytone for that battery powered amp effect. I am looking for more corons if anyone wants to sell or know of any for sale or

Arhythmic a part-time user from USA writes:
First stumbled across a DS-8 at a Pawn shop. Great find! Monstrous sound, with a lot of modulation for such a small box. Great space sounds. I have played bass on it just using the knobs. I have also run across a unit identical to this(the DS-8), being sold as a 'KMD Drum Exciter'. Keep your eyes out: Very few people know (or appreciate) what these things are, and you can often find a great deal, if you can just find one. I have run across 4 total, and all were under $100. Well worth the expense, and mine have been tough as nails.
