This keyboard sounds a lot better with the proper effects.

The strings are not actually that great, the brass however is decent. It is a cheese synth, a cheap way for bands to pick up a new wave edge to their sound. I personally don't use it because the strings are week compared to my seil or-400. I borrowed it off to a pop band.

It's not that bad. The brass can be made to sound like an alright bass sound. The strings are cheesy , but you can fade the brass and strings into each other which makes it sound 50's Sci-Fi movie soundtrack. I picked mine up for 70 pound, which is a reasonable price for and additional keyboard. You shouldn't think of it as an instrument for weird and wacky sounds.
