This is just the second synth I've gotten the other being the akai ax80 but I really think the sound of this machine is good once tweaking the controls. The problem is I can't get the internal memory to work. I don't have a manual, but I read online it's simple to use so possibly its memory is dead. If anyone could help i this dept. it be much appreciated. Cos once I can save these patches I'd be willing to invest a lot more time with this little casio wonder.

I bought this synth for 140...Looking for analogue sounds to replicate my influences of Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze, and other space composers...This is a great synth, I love to program it...I plan to do some new agey experimental stuff with it, a sampler, and a few circuit bent synthesizers. Cosmo was the perfect name for it....

I paid US$ 33,00 last year for a CZ-1000 in a local Guitar Repair Shop. It was just too inexpensive for a MIDI instrument!! I had download so many different patches from the net that I think I have more than 2000 sounds... I´m completly lost!! Best money spent ever!!

Just got my CZ1000 from the guy selling here on this site...everything appears to be in good shape...still learning...I bid on the CZ Starter Pack offered on Ebay for $19.95 and it's worth it plus you get hundreds of patches and the original handbook...I'd like to duplicate the mellotron sound of the 70's Moody Blues...Also offered on Ebay recently was the rare ROM cartridge which I "bought it now" for $30...Hope it works...Don't know if I paid too much for it....I'll keep you posted
