WTF @ Max ...

man, get your ears checked... i'm not pretending to knoow stuff but me for one haven't heard anything as fat as that... ok, i grew up with soft synths and VA...

i've heard those moogs from the old days ... and compared with te PEK i think they are thin.

i really want to hear an example of what YOU call a nice thick analogue sound... really. some people just always react STUPID. pro user... well you shouldn't be. its not a piano dude.

As much as I really want to like this thing.. as much as I love the build quality and the controller options.... I really, seriously, don't like the sound of the Poly Evolver. I have managed to program some cool stuff but I feel like it's sound pallete is quite limited... to say the least. Just because it has a boutique price tag doesnt mean it has the sound to match.. It almost sounds like an aliasing DX7. Seriously. Listen to it!! Thin. Thin. Thin.

I really like the onboard sequencer?

I just wanted to give a short update for the DSI PEK.

This thing will warp your mind and scramble your brain like eggs. After nearly a year of owning No. 00040. This thing has been nothing short of Incredible. Its only drawback in sound like the prophet - 5 are the bass sounds yet all you need to fix that now is a bit of outboard compression. Also I just wanted to add that the quality of the build of this thing is solid thru and thru.

Cheers now forget va's & plug ins , this board rocks them all !

I've owned piles of Moogs in the 70s-80s, and have a stack of VAs today. There is nothing past or present that compares with the sound comming out of this.

I had the choice of a great price on an Electric Blue Voyager or the PEK, and I will admit the sequencer and blue flashing lights swayed me toward the Evolver. BOY, am I glad it did!

The knobs scream "program me!", and it's so light I can tuck it under my arm, retreat to the back yard or bedroom with some headphones, and program sounds never heard on Earth.

Enough review, I'm going back to playing!
