as someone returning to analog synths after more than twenty years i'm more than satisfied with the p08 & its been a shock to m. What is totally unfamiliar to me from all the 80s polysynths I owned , & I've had a few, is the level of versatility on show here. over the years we've been led to think that flexibility & tone are mutually exclusive and so on, that you need a dual analog/digital setup to cover both. the fact is only newly worked analog synths like this & the andromeda will provide that mixture for you, because of their mod options. the more I play this the more I wonder why we haven't seen more like it over the last 2 decades. very pleased.

This is a fantastic sounding machine. As everyone says the sound often comes down half way between the evolver and p5, more rounded and colored than the evolver, with lots of warmth . if you want a good new analog workhorse for all sorts of all thick sounds in poly format, this could be your best bet.
