I love my Roland E-16. I've done countless live work and recordings with it. My flight case is four times heavier than the synth. It's fine in the studio with a selection of pianos, convincing Hammond organ and Fender Rhodes. The string section is not too bad either. I agree with Paddy, the harpsichord is good (if you are so inclined!) Like all electronic things, there are functions that will never be used, and you can forget the brass, but for what I use it's a fine keyboard. The power input has come loose, so I've stripped it down and am trying to bond it back together. Everyone please keep your piano-playing fingers crossed for me! I'd hate to have to try and replace my keyboard at this stage in our relationship...

Keep pressing transpose key for few seconds until display flashes, then press some key on the keyboard relative to c1. The lower is the key - transpose will go lower, and vice versa.

Dos anyone know how to use the transpose key on the e16?. I am without a manual, and this is not easy then. My old e15 was simple to transpose with two knots, but without the manual its a problem with the e16.
Listen to my old e15 on this link www.riversideband.se and press "Lyssna"
