Adam a professional user from someplace dark and cold writes:
I own the following: Alesis DM5, Kawai XD-5 and Emu Procussion. The Procussion is, hands down, the most usable of the three. The DM5 is sadly crippled by a total lack of editing and it's non-multi-tibrality. The XD-5 is ideal for techno and its lowpass res filters are the bomb. The XD-5 has INCREDIBLE programmability, but for realistic high-quality drum samples it falls a bit short. The Procussion is IMHO the best of both- truly professional samples, great flexibility and the ability to adapt to almost every style of music. A+ I use this for electropop/industrial type stuff (think DM/FLA). Perfect box.

Oleg Pankov a part time user from Russia, Moscow writes:
1.I've got some problems with memory-I every 3 weeks I loose all user kits!

And it's not a battery problem.

2.Dance drums require quite a serious equalisation.

3.Where are the tr-909 PCMs?

Instead of it, PROCUSSION has wonderful Emulator3-like sound quality and

inimitable grain and it is very good for sound researching. DEPECHE MODE rules !!!

eric lymon a hobbyist user from Holland writes:
This drum-machine still amazes me every day : ))

If you`re looking for 'Kraftwerk'-sounding drums, this is the machine for you !

It can make the weirdest percussion/drum sounds, because it`s a drummachine

wich is more based upon a synthesizer.

You can make the deepest bassdrums you have ever heard and even the factory-

settings are very good ! So, if you can find a Procussion, I`d say: Go get it !
