love it. got the turbo, the manual, the drive and after a call to a commodore 64 supply place, the din chord (yeah, i know, i could have got one at goodwill, i just didn't want to wait). if you're looking for the manual, you might call emu/ensoniq in scotts valley, ca. i needed a drumulator manual and they had a copy readily available.
but it's really easy to use, it has those great big buttons, it's built like tank, and it swings like a motherfucker. by sending different sounds through the different output filters, you can take unwanted sheen off of cymbals (if the sample quality wasn't dirty enough for you). sounds oh-so-gritty in the best way.
one bad thing, since it's old, drive access time is HUMONGOUS. expect up to a half hour when saving sounds. ouch. and you can't buy double density 5and1/4 diskettes at the local 7-11 so better figure out a source for those.
