Get the update 2.67 NOT 2.62! this fixes a lot of bugs loading files. I have not experienced any problem sinds. The sequencer will suck no matter what they do to the operating system. Sequence with something else.

DO NOT GET THIS BUG RIDDEN MACHINE. I have lost hours of work on this supoosed workstation. So many tracks lost, when loading from disk it says (DISK READ FAILED) Sequencer is the worst I have ever worked on. Beleive me this is a very bad workstation. Ensoniq should be ashamed to release such crap. Sounds are very good but what's the point if you can't do nothing with them. I can't stop verbally bashing this unit. I don't know any proffesionals who use this shit box and if they do, their tracks must suck. DO NOT GET IT!!!!!

I own an ASR-X its an AWESOME sample creator, with the instant resample function, the sequencer sucks, but I use my ASR-88 to sequence with it, very cool that it uses .wav files, nice and easy to download loops off the net and pop them straight into the disk drive....

Dude this is a killer machine. It takes some getting used to but sounds a hell of a lot better then all that groove shit out there. Yes not a good seq. But killer sounds sampling and effects. Get it with the much improved 2.62 and you wont be dissapointed. It rocks! Just use computer or MPC for sequencing!
