my esq1 of 10 years just went belly-up on me. i called a few repair shops and nobody would touch it. apparently ensoniq just dropped support for it and the eps. too bad, it made some unique noises.

This this my favorite piece of eqioupment to use when I am remixing trip hop tracks. The filters in this thing are so liquid, but different like only an ESQ can sound... Does this make it a good synth? It depends if you want to sound like everyone else or do you want your sounds to stand out in a mix?

You would be amazed at just how many of the Fattest old school songs have ESQ's. I got mine last year and have not put quite tweaking it since. A great machine to keep you up creating new sounds.
