I have had a MR-61 since 99 and used it alot until I had major surgery. Never got my UNISYN software in the mail and forgot about it cause I was laid up for so frickin long. Anyone know what I can use as software? I am well enough to start banging the keys again. I love this machine!

I am an artist and independent filmmaker. I renetd an MR-76 in the late 90's and was amazed at how user friendly it was, after I read through the phone-book sized manual. I eventually bought a used MR-61, and I have recorded 100's of hours of music. The sounds overall are rich and fat, and there are still expansion boards available through Ebay and other avenues. I highly recommend the MR-61!

The MR is one of the baddest boards I have ever worked on! It was around '97 or '98, I was 16 years old. My friends dad owned the MR-76. Without a manual or nothing we was in the lab making bangers like pros. The song builder is sick, you can arrange your songs flawlessly. The drums are some of the sickest to me, even with today's boards. Now that I own the Roland Fantom X-88, I'd still use the MR anyday, which my friend owns the MR-61 now. I need to go get my own, but I can't find one. Guess I'll do the E-bay thing. But yeah, the MR is responsible for some of the best music I have ever made, and won't be able to duplicate. I recomend this board to any youngster out there making tracks. The board is for real.
