Hello! I've got the Ensoniq TS10, I'm using it with my PC (and Cake Walk pro.) Very satisfied with this synth! Owned it for about 2 years now. I've got lot's of EDE-files, so if you want to trade you're welcome! I'm looking for EDT-files, songs and sequences! If you have any it would be geat if you could contact me... trade trade....

Steve Hampton a part time user from USA writes:
I have owned many types of synths in my time and I have to say, that even after owning this instrument since February 1995, it's still my favorite! I had problems with the KBD at first, but the folks at FATAR (who actually makes it) were nice enogugh to send me a new pressure ribbon for the black keys. I'm a computer programmer with the day gig. With that mentioned, I see both good and bad user interfaces. The TS-12's software is so intuitive that I stopped using Cakewalk (it got in the way of me and the instrument)!!! I think synth companies in general are getting better at writing/designing the User Interfaces (UI's) for their products. The're going through what the software industry went through a few years ago with GUI's. And, since just about everyone has a PC or a MAC, users will expect if not require it. Only two gripes with the instrument to date: 1. No Resonance Filter parms!!! 2. The old and out dated use of LED displays [Gee, I really think Ensoniq got a good bulk rate on these things back in the early 80's.] I can't complain too much, but, if I did, I want an Graphical User Interface (GUI) similar to my Roland VS-1680 digital workstation (BTW: the software on that puppy is outstanding!!!) TS-12...very reliable instrument.
