The TS-10 still holds its own for such an old box! Out of box "real" sounds are not all perfect, but I fell in love with the transwave-based stuff immediately. As a controller, it's perfect for somebody who likes to keep a group of sounds available to change quickly on-the-fly. And for ultimate expressivity, the polyphonic aftertouch can't be beat - so few instruments offer it.

One awesome synthesizer. Get the TSD-1004 Synthesaurus + the Megadisk 1+2 from syntaur, and you'll be in heaven. It doesn't have a resonant filter, but I still regard it as one of the best soundgenerators ever. The most important gear in my setup, as I rely on the sequencer for all my creations, and control all my other gear from the TS. Also has a great fx section similar to the DP4.

William a professional user from USA writes:
The TS-10 is the greatest keyboard ever made! When people hear my original songs, they do not believe that I am actually playing all of the instruments involved from piano, drums, bass line, strings, horns, and guitars. I have to give a quick demonstration to prove that it is me. I made a record deal using just my ts-10. This guy couldn't believe that I could do all that I did with it. It is absolutely the most user-friendly sequencer ever made! I love you Ensoniq, from the bottom of my heart! William
