Cyril Pinto a part-time user from Karachi Pakistan writes:
This was my first real professional keyboard. I purchased it basically for the sounds and the sequencer. At that time I knew nothing about sequencing. Anyway, the Manual really helped me out, though sometimes it could be a bit confusing. Well at first,my sequencing sounded like a Casio keyboard, but then as I began to understand the machine, my music began to blossom. The main thing about the TS Sounds are the quality of it. There good sounding but not that well programmed However with a few adjustments you can really produce some terrific sounds. I purchased a TSD-1004 (very good disk), TSD-1003, TSD-1002, and the Jeff Lorber, and Craid Anderton sample sound series. I recommend the TSD-1004. It has some great pads, synth-basses. I didn't like the drums of the TS that much, but they are very rich compared to Roland's XP series. The TS features TOP NOTCH sequencing, easy to use, and great for getting down ideas fast. The secret to getting the most out of the TS are the effects. If you know how to use the effects section -- then you're on you're way to producing high quality sounds and music. The really bad part of the TS-10 is the polyphony which is only 32 VOICE (Mind you not 32 NOTE). This is a must have keyboard, and even though I sold it after 4-1/2 years, I still miss the richness of the sounds. The abiliby to play sample sounds is also a great addition to the keyboard. THE TS IS A MUST HAVE KEYBOARD. Anyway if you have some questions, ask me about it -- Thankx
