This thing is unbelievable and cannot be repeated by the new wave of VA synths...not to say the new wave dont have their purpose...just they can't BE this thing
I have two of them and love them

one of my first synths. spend years editing it and can call myself a juno106 expert now. unison mode is great. try to turn the blue knob on the inside to adjust the resonance or in some cases create a dirty sound.(somewhere on the right under the panel)no risks attached. buy one and have fun with it. great synthesis introduction!!!!!

i don't think this constitutes a comment neccessarily, but i m in dire need of a power cord for a juno 106. i am being told that they are unavailable, and so far this has been true. i can't find one anywhere. does anybody know where i could order one and if so, any ideas on how much it would be?? greyelectric@aol.com
thanks clueless

This is the synth I play with most at home. It's so incredibly easy to program and it sounds so nice that you'll fall instantly in love with it. It's great for electronica-ambient stuff (nice pads), but you can also obtain good basses and leads too. Worth the price (I paid mine $100). I also have an AKAI AX73 (analog synth with digital controls), but despite the fact that the akai has more pentential, I prefer the Juno sound.

Juno 106 is little overrated, but still a good synth. The best thing about it is instant control over sound. Alpha junos are almost as "warm", but they can do more with sound. Don`t expect too much from 106, its good with certain styles or sounds.
