I've had my juno for about 5 years now, and I have it patched to a Korg 05rw sound module. If I ever learn how to program this thing, I'll be all set. I was born in 1978, and i grew up pretty much in the digital age as opposed to analog, nut I am appreciating this synth more and more everyday

Just wanted to say that I sold my 106 about two years ago & have been kicking myself ever since. If you own one don't sell it...Learn how to program it to make sounds you like. No matter what new "virtual-synth" comes along that gets close it's never the same. This synth has laods of low end rumble that'll knock your socks off. Gotta go...

This is another great synth from Roland. They know their stuff and it's so easy to get around with. With midi this is the ultimate house-techno-elektro-anything synth so get your's now! Personally i don't really like the looks but get one now before the prices rocket sky high.

The Roland Juno 106 is a great fun synth. It's great for making Kraftwerk or Jean Michell Jarre type vintage synth sounds.. It comes with two very nice chorus effects, except the second chorus is noisey and I never use it.. I find the first chorus is excellent and it's almost always on.. Occasionally I pump this unit through some digital effects.. a favorite is the Digitech 2112 studio guitar system. I can program in some really intense sounds... One of the greatest features of the Juno 106 is that you always get a new sound every time you program it.. You can find em' dirt cheap in pawn shops too.!! I spend hours with this thing.. if this synth has one flaw, it's that it can be to prominent and can eat up the entire bandwidth of a piece.. it's hard for it to not draw all the attention..probably becuase it really shines with pad type sounds.. and it's just as hard to turn down the volumes when it's making really psychedelic leads.. - you just want it keep on going.. I give it 5/5..!!! Get one today if you can becuase they are getting harder to find and more expensive all the time.. mine is mint condition by the way (cheasy grin)

I got my Juno, which is my first real synths about a week ago and I stayed up till 5:30 a.m. playing with it. Very fun and easy to program, and has a good range of sounds. Does leads, bass, pads, very well. I also got some cool piano, organ and harpsichord sounds out of it, as well as weird noises. Mono mode is fun. A *great* beginners synth, for all music, but especially techno, industrial or other electronic-centered music
