Honest Steve a part-timer user from Texas, USA writes:
I really like this synth. Especially cool is the ability to route external sounds into and through the analog filter, but I usually have to boost the gain a lot for this to work. Does great stuff for my Korg M1 pads. I created an entire set of drum samples from this by using mostly white noise and different filter/mod settings. I don't have the manual and when I called Kawai they said they didn't think it was ever sold in USA, but the routings for the controls are displayed on the front so it's not too bad.

Eric Colin a part time user from THE NETHERLANDS writes:
Yes, this little synth rules. If it had wheels, it would be some kind of Ferrari in disguise. Indeed, the filter is very cool ! At first I thought that there was someting wrong with this synth because if you pushed the filter up in combination with .... ehhh .... whats it called ..... well it's the resonance knob, but it is not the resonance ... ???? well, it made a hell of a noise. Almost at the maximum filterlevel , you could hear some character changes in the sound which were quite peculiar and beautiful. I have a lot of synths, but this is the only one that can create this kind of sound. After fiddling with it for 4 hours in a row, I had to rest for a couple of hours because the sound drained me of all my energy. That's how powerful it was !!! Although I am NOT a beginner, some of the controls on the 100F are still puzzling me. the only downside is that it does not have a bender. You will have to use portamento instead. Does anyone have a MANUAL ???? Please, if you come across this monster, buy it ! NOTE : Before playing the 100F, PUT ON YOUR CONDOM FIRST !!!!!!! You might want to have your way with it once you experience ... the 100F experience !
