A smart little synth capable of some interesing and powerful sounds. A lot like the pro soloist, in fact, probably a rip off. It has a spring reverb, no really, it does,,,like an Arp 2600! Madness. And, a flanger...like the Quadra. So, a lot like an Arp synth in many ways.
The aftertouch capabilities are great, Growl, pitch bend etc. all work well. It has cut off for filter stuff which can be used via slider or aftertouch. All of the pre sets are useable. Someone somewhere said they're thin. They are not. This is a fat sounding little synth. Some good modulation stuff...simple but good. All-in-all, a little cracker! Not cheap and not many about. Some are badged Teisco, others Kawai.
The build quality is good. Many/most have been mistreated at some point. If you see a decent one, all working, snap it up. You may have to pay up to £250. No more...I've seen one at 500euros.
