I have several synths. This one is my preferred synth to use as a midi controller. I don't need weighted keys and the K-11 has a nice feel, excellent piano sounds, and is very easy to use in a midi environment as a master controller. Otherwise, except for some nice drums and cymbals - the sounds stink.
It is easier to use and configure than my Korg N series which sounds fantastic - but is useless as a master controller. So I use the K-11 for a midi controller and don't even listen to the sounds.

The K11 is a cheap and good masterkeyboard. The original sounds are rubbish, except the pianos. I really like the keyboard though the black keys arent as sensitive as the white ones. But you will surely get acustomed to this. Got mine for some 700DM (nowadays 350$). If you get one for 200 - 250$ it is great for a beginner who needs a keyboard+pianosounds for his computerized synthstart...

Not bad as a starting synth, and a pretty decent master keyboard. The filters aren't too bad either, and it just cost about 250 second hand. Now i just need to make a mixer module for it in Cubase...

Great first time keyboard. The accessability is fairly nice, but I would like a bit more ease of use in the sound editing system. Other than that, it's quality.

Great value. Good horn stabs and backing strings.
Not for solo use but a great second.
I use it to control my Hammond Module and thicken up the Horn patches.
The price was a little over $550 so it was a bargain.
Good ability to select patches from an external module too.
GM compat for my computer MIDI files too.
Very pleased.... so far...
