damn this bugger makes sounds like no other. kinda reminds me like a hard edge FIZMO. but the edges are too many to repeat. incredible synth. who says its hard to program? easiest synth i ever used. in just an hour or so. f--k the va,s this thing sounds like its own. never had more fun making noise. and so easy to use. was wondering if the wavestation is as cool?

nathan kaines a professional user from USA writes:
Ok i just received my k5000s today, and i wasnt gonna post a review till i really got into the synth. But i sacrificed my friday night and spent hours with it. First impressions: ok this is one sleek looking synth, very sexy. Keyboard action is killer like said many times before. many control features make it a killer controller as well. At first i didnt think it could do good bass, but after a while of getting into it i pumpe out some good basses, not nord or virus bass, but good enough. The main thing i see this synth good for is, killer evolving pads, weird fx, and th most phucked up noises you can ever imagine. Seems a lil to bright to me, i do wish it was a lil warmer, but then whats warm to me isnt to others. The interface oddly enough feels right, and you almost get used to maneuvering around real fast. Filters are a little harsh, sorta like biting, you really have to watch the reso or you could pop your ears, and make some people real pissed. Overall im happy with the money i spent, and feel this board will add to my rig nicely. Its more o a board that should fit into a already functional studio. If you do ambient, noise, experimantal, or just want something very unique check this board out fast. Youll be amazed.

Pros: killer build, great action, huge lcd, amazing sounds, endless control, and not analog, i love analog, but its a refreshing change, dont expect this board to do analog, it can kinda, but then your missing the point of its power.

Cons: slow disk drive, steep learning curve(which is a plus, it weeds out the preset freaks) and last, not enough time in the day to really freak out on the sounds, some of them really freak me out, and thats so worth the wait and price.

Get one. You wont be sorry, which youve heard before, but trust me its worth the 500-600$ youll pay for it.
