Is there a hardware sequencer craze going on right now? because all of the sudden the prices have rocketed. I must say this is a nice sequencer..even though an Mc80 is probably the king of em all..id have to say the Mmt-8 sucks the worst of em all. My Mc50 also kicks plenty of ass..the only thing the Q80 may have over this is the fact it reads GM files, and the original Mc50 doesnt ; ( cool sequencer tho!

i'd have to say that this is one of THE BEST hardware sequencers out there. i can't say it's #1.. because some people prefer the MPC. (but then again... we're talking $1300 and $250)

totally Blows the Alesis MMT8 out of the water. No rubber buttons that go bad... plenty of tracks to sequence... and have you ever heard of something that Kawai makes going bad??? I've heard dozens of complaints about MMT8's just erasing everything for no reason, then never screwing up again. "my mmt8 just went whacko and i've had it for 4 years and its never left my smoke free studio!" you won't hear things like that about THIS machine

The q80EX gives you twice as much memory too... and many more "motifs" which are great if you plan on using it as a sequencer for rackmount stuff.

This thing also makes Live P.A.'s FUN and Enjoyable! and for a price tag usually no higher than $300... its a STEAL. Compliments the Kawai K1m well.

i wonder why no one knows about this awesome hardware sequencer??
