I have used the Korg 01/wfd for about 3 years now. I like the sequencer and the easy of use for hooking the keyboard to my computer (I use powertracks on a Windows 95 platform). However, I don't like the fact that the keyboard doesn't come with the general midi sounds preloaded. It looks like you have to buy an extra card (which I can't find).
Needs more guitar and organ sounds. Does have great drum kits! I love the effects.

I love my O1/wFD! It's a very flexible yet easy-to-work-with synth. I've found a way to get a resonant filter sweep over an analog sound: just copy the effects from the "slider pad" and maximize the values of the "Parametric Equalizer". It's not really a very fat LowPassfilter, but it will give you some very funky Wah-control over your sounds! As for the 01W/fd compared to the Trinity: the Trinity has much better sounds of course, but I think the 01 still has a better user-interface (big touchscreen is far too slow) and has a better price-quality rate. If your looking for a very very good and affordable workstation, GET THIS ONE!!
