Benny Harris a professional user from USA writes:
I just purchased the Korg 0 R/W and it's like having most of the N5 sounds without the controller features. It sounds great but is difficult to program but it's easy to get good useable sounds by layering the available sound-set It's great for hooking up to a computer and having some sounds to fatten up the sounds of any other decent synth. I very glad to have it and it complements my other synth by adding the right sound layer. The o R/W and any other synth is a wise move.

Nick Chan a part-time user from Malaysia writes:
Sounds better than Korg N series in my opinion. Quite difficult to use with PC editors. Cheap nowdays. Not really a professional module, but with current price, nothing beats it. 32 polyphony, 8 part combis. I had an N5. I think 05r/w sounds thicker, fatter. Good for hobbyists, non-pro use. Choose this instead of NS5R or NX5R. I wish the DACs are 20bit at least, and cleaner output. Though, it puts NanoSynth to shame

Alexander Pomp a hobbyist user from Germany writes:
I'm using my 05R/W together with some Yamaha Synths in a Rock-Band and I really like this module. Most sounds are very impressive. Especially the several organs, trumpets and the Honkey Tonk Piano are really amazing. But the normal GM Piano is nearly unusable on stage. Furthermore, there is no real good String sound. Some GM Sounds already seem to have some effects on it and unfortunately you can't edit them. To summarize it I have to say that the 05R/W is a real usable soundmodule and its cheap (I only paid 150$). You don't make a mistake if you buy one!

Officer Miro a part-time user from CHILE writes:
This is a great machine, but only if you work with it, and take your own presets (there are great ones on the net). The presets really sucks... but try to get some sounds in a dedicated website and you will be impressed... you should also use an editing software to keep your programs, 'cause the "2mm" Screen is really unreadable... (also, the manuals are in chineese)

Anyway, i'm very happy with it, don't let it go if you see it cheap...
