Well, a lot of not very complimentary things get said about this, but I have to say that despite limited controls it's one of my favourite instruments for jamming live with, simply because of the way you can mix up the strings / synth, and chopping either one in and out in a DJ transform sort of style (with a touch of delay) sounds utterly wicked. And yes, it's built like a tank, and looks really goddamn cool. Coffee 'n' cream :)

This is currently the only analogue synth I have in my studio, and definately a good buy at only 100ukp. Some sounds are dissapointing, and the vibrato section would be amazing if it could be routed to say the filter and used as an LFO. but its not! The filter is pretty powerful tho' and the inversed EG setting is useful. With the string section? don't even go there.

i got this for free from a studio that was throwing it out. sounds so-so on its own but with compressors and effects you can get some pretty amazing noise from it. plus it looks cool. he he

i scored a korg delta at a pawnshop for $58 a couple of months ago. it's built like a tank , or at least a honda accord and with some tweaking sounds pretty damn o.k. pop those rubber thingies off the back and CAREFULLY turn the trim pots with a small screwdriver untill analog bliss is achieved. i have consiered the possibilty of connecting typical potentioeters in place of the pain-in-the-ass trim pots. i am partial to any guitar or keyboard of asian origin with rocker switches, so yeah, for $58 u.s. , buy one!!! oh yeah what did these things go for new and when?
