This box rocks, I just bought one to go with my MS2000, which is slightly lacking in the lead department. They go so well together, the meaty basses and ambient pads of the MS and the tasty leads of the EA-1. My need for more sounds is satisfied!!!..... for now.....

Gladly I've got both the EA-1 and the ER-1, and more than anything I just want to read my own review ont this site. But I will say that these babies are great for jamming along with other equipment. You know all that "hands on" "realtime" stuff etc. Anyway my point is thatI think these beatifull machines are just great for beginners, (such as myself) and the bass kicks so much my flatmates hate it, and my girlfriend hates it although she won't admitn it.

There is one really bad thing about this machine...Korg encased it in the cheapest plastic crap and its almost embarrassing looking compared to something like the RM1X...as for sounds, Korg did good there...this thing goes beyond any wishes I had intended...but as for live performance I would never use it for hauling around...it will probably break if you sneeze at it too hard.

I use this box as my primary synth and use it's cousin the electribe-r to keep the beat. I was completely amazed by just how much you could do with these two machines. Still waiting to try out the es-1 because the sampler truly completes the electribe series
