There is a lot you can do and a lot you cannot do, but it sounds great! its a drum machine with syth and samples? hmm..... another hit for korg. Goes great with the KP2!

i have just hade mine shipped to me. i must say great job to korg. the options are great and the syth are not as deep as some have stated, but i have been able to get some really original sounds out of them so far ! a machine that can be used for dance, r&b, idm, acid, and house music with very little problems. and the tube warmth is great idea but i might not use them allot because i like harsh electronic tones, but it is great for warming up those drums

Love it so far, I bought both versions and have them in sync together. very good sounding drums and syths. Interface is very easy to use.

I have to agree with the last post. Drums are some of the best I have heard for a drum machine. The syth parts are great but lose out on the tweak factor like other syths have. But thats not bad. The syths you can create and use are limeted only to the user and not to some presets like sampling workstations. Effect are good but nothing that blows you away. Everything is clean sounding. And it's built like a tank !! The arpeggiator is for sure lacking some common features. All and all great value for studio recording use. A new standard in drum machine sound and design.

This one rocks! Drums have a very large and clear sound picture and the syth parts sound very organik! The fact that this drum machine has up to five VA synth parts is amazzzing! Korg has spoiled us with this one. Who would of thought that a product like this would come out? analog style sequencing with 16 diffrent parts and VA modeling AND knobs that can control any MIDI signal for modulating your other MIDI instruments!
